Understanding Dynamic Image Types in WhatsApp Templates
What are Dynamic Image Types?
Dynamic image types allow you to insert product images automatically based on the context of your automation triggers. These images are dynamically fetched from the user's interactions, such as orders, abandoned carts, or replenishment recommendations.
When Does a Dynamic Image Work?
Dynamic images work only within automations with related triggers. Below is a guide on which dynamic image type corresponds to which automation:

If you are using a dynamic image in a WhatsApp automation, your message template might look like this:
In this case, {{2}} will be replaced with the product name, and the dynamic image will display automatically.
Important Notes
- Dynamic images do not work in manual messages. They only work in automations with the correct trigger.
- If a product image is not available, WhatsApp will not send the message or will display a placeholder.
