Configure dedicated domain to send your emails

A dedicated sending domain allows you to send emails from your brand domain and gives you better overall control of your sender reputation. Anyone can set up their dedicated domain to send emails, and it does not cost you anything extra.

You can contact support to set up a dedicated IP if you need further control over your email reputation. Additional charges are applicable for dedicated IP.

We only allow using a sub-domain to send emails instead of your primary domain. For example instead of using shopagain.io to send marketing newsletters, use updates.shopagain.io. This preserves the reputation of the primary domain so that emails from support@shopagain.io do not end in spam folder.

We recommend using an alternate email address like promotions@updates.shopagain.io as sender email and setup your support email like support@shopagain.io as the reply-to address so that people can reply if they want to.

Setup dedicated domain

Go to Settings > Channels > Email
Scroll down to find the Dedicated Email Domain section.
Add your subdomain like updates.shopagain.io and click Setup dedicated domain button

Configure your subdomain

You will be presented with five DNS settings. Login to your domain provider like GoDaddy or Namecheap and add these settings.

Generate DNS Configuration

Once you are done, click on the Verify button to begin verification. It can take up to 24 hours for us to verify the domain settings. You can come back and check this later.
