What is a campaign?

A campaign is a sequence of one or more emails or SMS or both that can be sent to your selected audience. In this article, you will learn how to create a campaign on ShopAgain. Visit our YouTube channel to watch the video click here

To create a campaign, click on the Campaigns in the left panel and click on the Create Campaign.

Any campaign consists of 3 necessary steps:



Step 2: Compose:


What message you want to send (that goes in Compose.

Step 2: Entry Audience:


Who do you want to send the message to (that goes in Entry Audience.

Step 3: Entry Schedule:


When do you want to send the message (that goes in Entry Schedule.

Step 4: Canvas Flow Editor (For Multi-Touch only):


The Multi-Touch campaign is a series of emails or SMS or both that can be sent to your selected audience. This step is only applicable for the Multi-Touch campaign.

Now, let's see how to create a campaign.


Campaign Name: Choose a unique name for your campaign. We recommend selecting a name that matches the purpose of your campaign, e.g., Welcome series single touch campaign

Campaign type: There are two types of campaigns. Choose your Campaign type by clicking on the radio button.

Single-Touch campaign refers to sending only one email or SMS to your audience.
Multi-Touch campaign refers means sending multiple emails and SMS using the flow.

Single-Touch



Let's say we want to create a single touch campaign. Now there are two messaging channels available: Email and SMS

Let's select SMS. You can draft a message here and personalize the message as per need.



Select the discount code type from the drop-down menu if you want to add discount in the SMS

Check the automatically shorten links if you are adding any links to the message. Add "STOP" to opt-out for subscribers who want to stop receiving future SMS

Now let's say you want to send an Email. Select email channel and select the pre-designed email template you want to send



Write a relevant subject line and Preview text. Click NEXT. Now, Select the Entry Audience for this campaign. If the list or segment is not decided then keep All Users selected to target all the users.



Once that is done, you can see analytics related to the selected audience. In the final step, Entry Schedule, you specify when the message should be delivered to your selected audience. The delivery can be Scheduled, e.g., send this campaign as soon as it is launched.



A campaign can also be delivered based on the actions of your audience, e.g., when someone places an order, the campaign is delivered as a result of that action taken by your customer. Select the relevant event based on the campaign. For the welcome campaign, the event Subscribed to emails



Allow users to become Re-Eligible to enter this campaign. For the welcome series let's uncheck the box. Save the campaign. Your single touch campaign is ready. if you want to launch then click on the save and launch button




Multi-Touch



In the Multi-Touch campaign, you need to select Multi-Touch from the campaign type. Select the target audience and campaign delivery, and choose Smart Batch Sending if you want to send the campaign in multiple batches to avoid emails landing in the spam folder.



Choose Conversion Event that suit best your campaign goal. If the campaign goal is purchase, select the order placed as a conversion event. Users will exit from the flow if they have placed the order since starting this flow.



Now open FLOW EDITOR where we create flows. Flows are easy to create with our drag and drop flow editor. Drag and drop messaging channels, conditional split nodes, and time delay.



If required, you can use Split nodes to divide users and send personalized messages based on their behavior.



Once you are done with the flow, save it, close the flow editor, and click the NEXT or click the SAVE AND EXIT button. Your campaign is ready to launch
