How to Create Replenishment Automation in ShopAgain
In ShopAgain, you can set up replenishment reminders to encourage customers to reorder products they frequently purchase. Follow the steps below to create an effective replenishment automation:
Our algorithms identify products that are frequently purchased by some customers, automatically adding these products to a Replenishable List. Reminders are then sent based on the frequency determined by our algorithms. You can also manually configure the frequency for any product, and new products can be added to the list if they are not identified automatically.
Access the Replenishment Reminders Page to configure these settings.
Before setting up automation, create templates for Email, WhatsApp, and SMS based on the channels you plan to use. Here’s how to do it for each:
Open the email editor and drag a Product Block into the template layout.
Click on the Product Block. From the Configuration Sidebar, set the Product Type to Replenishment.
Adjust the Number of Products and Columns as needed to customize the layout.
Save the email template once you're satisfied with the design.
Refer to this guide for creating a WhatsApp template message.
To use replenishment data in your WhatsApp message:
Header:
- Set the Header Type to Image.
- Choose Image Type as Dynamic.
- Select Image as ProductReplenishmentImage.
Message Body:
- Use the ReplenishmentProductName and ReplenishmentProductUrl variables to dynamically insert product information.
Button:
- For Button Type, select URL and set it to Dynamic.
- Map URL to ReplenishmentProductUrl to allow customers to directly access the product page.
The SMS template follows the same approach as WhatsApp. You can insert replenishment variables in the message to personalize reminders for customers.

Go to the automation setup and select System Event as the Action Trigger.
Choose Replenishment Reminder as the trigger event.
Attach the previously created Email and WhatsApp templates to this flow. You can also include the SMS similarly.
That’s it! Once configured, ShopAgain will handle the rest, sending timely replenishment reminders to your customers and increasing the chances of repeat purchases.
